Kevin has over 40 years extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of property law, commercial law, contract and lease transactions together with associated company, trust and estate advice and implementation.
Kevin graduated LLB (Hons) from Auckland University in 1975. Kevin then spent 7 years in the Far North (practising law in Kaitaia) and pursuing outdoor hobbies in sailing, fishing and jogging.
Richard has 25 years' experience and has been at Lovegroves since 1996. Richard has a wide client base in the Bays area and beyond and has built up a strong general practice where he frequently acts on civil litigation, general commercial law, relationship property and conveyancing matters.

John joined Lovegroves in March 2017. Prior to that, John was a partner at Chapman Tripp Sheffield Young, then he co-founded the law firm Ellis Gould where he was a partner for thirty years.
John specialises in negotiating, drafting and advising on acquisition and disposition of properties. His 40-plus years of experience are filled with successes in acting for a number of national and international chains.
Peter D Ellis
Peter practises in the areas of trusts, estates and conveyancing transactions. Peter graduated from Auckland University in 1959, and immediately joined his father in the firm of Ellis & Ellis, followed by partnerships with Sheffield Young & Ellis, Chapman Tripp Sheffield Young and Ellis Gould, all practising in the CBD.
Terry graduated from Auckland University in 1970 and established his own practice in Taupo, where he lived for many years.
In 1987 he moved to Auckland where he has practiced since.
Terry recently joined Lovegroves as a Consultant, from James Keat, in Newmarket, where he was one of the partners.
Sonja was born in Montenegro and completed her Law Degree there in 1979. She moved to New Zealand in 1995 and was admitted to the bar in New Zealand in 2011. She has a wealth of experience in all areas of property, commercial, trusts, asset planning and estate work.
Philip brings the benefit of 40 years of experience to his clients and their legal needs.
Philip completed his law degree at Auckland University in 1974. He comes from a family of lawyers — his grandfather, father and brother were all lawyers. Philip joined Lovegroves in 2015.
Jack joined Lovegroves in 2013 as a staff solicitor and works primarily in the areas of conveyancing, wills, enduring powers of attorney, commercial agreements and relationship property agreements. Jack is fluent in English and Mandarin and also speaks Cantonese and Hokkien.
